Helen's Birthday Party, only story 1

it's been a craaaazyyy weekend, i'll say that.

Got to helen's place on friday around 6pm, i left sb at 2:30, so much traffic around. took the worst freeways the 101, the 5 and the 10. traffic on all three. afterwards i went to get Classic Burger with Helen and Cynthia, i was starving so it was pretty damn awesome. Then we went shopping at Target, 99 cent store and Wal-mart. i bought a bunch of stuff that i needed and some peach passion champagne, only 4 bux, what a steal! yeah we were out til like 11pm shopping. we're big spenders, hahahah!

next day/ party day. kinda just were lazy in the early part of the day. we just chilled, ate and talked to people online. went to food4less and bought a 30case of beer, midori, and some smirnoff passion fruit. i felt so proud being carded. it's jus weird that people have to type in the birthday on the ID into the register, it's like, you can't figure birthday out? whatever. got ready then took a nap i got sweaty from the nap because i was using a thick comforter. but it was too late to take a shower, people started coming.

i got kinda drunk and kept reading to mike for some reason, hahaha! funny stuff. all night i wanted to slap freakin isaac cuz he was bagging on me in a not nice way. so i was pissed about that. antho was kinda mad at him too for some reason, probably because isaac is just isaac. the night was going great everyone was having a good time. had some good drinks, good food and good friends, what more can you want?

later cynthia and lissette left then a fight broke out between antho and isaac, antho got him by the throat with one hand and kinda just pushed him down. isaac apparently talked shit about antho's cousin and antho wasn't taking that. isaac got up and said "go ahead and beat me up" and stuff like that. i had to separate them, isaac went out in front of the house and cried or soemthing. helen went out to calm him down, but that made her upset/cry. then everyone started getting angry or something. marco said some stuff to isaac like no one wants him there and blah blah blah. so isaac drove off, like freakin drunk, but we couldn't stop him. then helen was really upset/more crying and everyone was angry at isaac for that.

so helen's parents were mad or upset about this and we had to pack the party up. people decided to go to Ey's house after. i said my goodbyes and was going to sleep over at helen's place, but little did i know that isaac was back in the house. i was kinda upset about it so i slept over at Ey's place.

Friday the 13th

so i'm not really a superstitious person, but something always goes wrong on friday the 13th, whether i realize it or not. it's not self-sabotage either.

so on friday i knew it was friday the 13th but i didn't really realize it. it just wasn't on my mind. i just went through the day like it was normal. last day of MCDB woo! went to work, help set up for the volleyball game. watched the men's volleyball team practice, like a creeper. the maybe cute guy from the physical therapist place came by to pick up towels. i was moving a table and offered to help and i accepted. i know he's in my bio and eemb class so i ask if he was and yup, it's him. we introduced ourselves and talked about how bogus the bio class is. so i made a new friend, the last day of the quarter, hahahah! he went back to what he was doing and so did i. on the court only two of the volleyball guys were practicing. my boss threw me a basketball. i didn't catch it so i chased it and got it on the floor. well my feet were still going when i bent down to pick the ball up. i kicked the ball while it was in my hands, which bent back my middle finger on my right hand. this was in front of the volleyball guys so i held in my pain and let out a squeak later. it hurt a lot! so i got some ice from the physical therapist place. then it started hurting for abit more longer than i liked so i went back and got it checked. i was embarrassed because the new friend works there. so it's not broken, i just hurts a lot. the guy got me this strip of brown stretchy material to wrap my finger. it sticks to itself, it's so cool i was playing with it all day.

today i got up and my finger has swelled up. i figure it's a sprain and if it gets worse i'll go to the doctors. it's just annoying, i can't close my fist all the way, it also feels like i need to crack the knuckle it's near but i figure that's a very bad idea. of course i would sprain my finger on friday the 13th.

Last 2009 Basketball home game

i haven't really been updating because i've been busy with school and PCN. i haven't had much time for fun.

yesterday i went to vagina monologues it was not what i expected but better. i enjoyed it a lot and also i knew three people doing it.

today i went to the last home game of this year's men's basketball. i got a free senior night t-shirts. there was a typo, that's sad, who can't spell Chris? the game started off good we were ahead by a few points. then we fell back a bunch of points. we spent to whole game trying to catch up, it was always around 5-7 points behind. at the end we were tied but with 30 seconds, there was a personal foul and the other team got 2 free throws and made it. we were devastated. there was only 6.3 seconds to get 3 points to win, but from across the whole court. one guy got the ball and ran to half court, threw the ball and made it!!! it was fucking crazy!!!! everyone rushed the court and started jumping around the middle of the court singing "ole ole ole ole gauchos, gauchos!" it was awesome!!! i saw chris devine and patted him on the shoulder and it was sweaty as hell! i was super happy that i patted him but super grossed out by the sweat. it was still all in good fun. afterwards there was an autograph session, i got my gaucholoco shirt signed by the whole team! it tickled! that was an awesome game. i messed up my throat by yelling and screaming. it was amazing!

my week or what i remember of it

Wednesday:
i was kinda having a poopy day, it was really hard for me to get out of bed, i think i was late for ochem, that's never fun. so i head to bio, and i see brian, we usually meet each other at the same time. he was just standing waiting for me and there's something he's holding behind his back. he hands me a yellow daisy. it was a really sweet gesture, but before there any hoopla. he said that it was random act of kindness day. someone gave him the flower and he gave it to me. i didn't really know what to say besides thank you. i felt a little awkward since i usually don't get flowers. but it cheered up my day notheless.

Thursday:
it was just a shitty day, i was moody and cranky. i was glad that day was over with.

Saturday:
Kinda just chilled for most of the day. i've been kinda sick for a while, so i took it easy. Ann and i wanted to go to the basketball game, but she had been somewhere else all day. Mika finally came home. we started the movie Dead Alive, it was really good there was a lot of screaming cuz it was horrifying but also funny. we had to stop half way so we could go to the game. so Ann, mika and i went to the basketball game. there weren't a lot of people but there was quite a number of them. i never realized how small the court was, but since we hadn't been to a basketball game all year we decided to make the most of it. lately our basketball team had been losing to other schools. the game itself was really back and forth. we were in the gaucho locos section so we cheered our heads off. when the clock ran out we were both tied. so we went into over time and we won!!!!! yay!!! we actually won! i was really happy. after we went back home and watched the rest of Dead Alive, it was really funny.

Ann, tony, mika and i went to April's birthday party. we all had some alcohol, passion fruit skky with cranberry juice. it was good cuz i put a lot of cranberry juice. i tried some beer pong but i don't drink beer so i made someone else drink it for me, hahahahha! good sport. then drank like a shot of this hazelnut alcohol, i like hazelnut but that was just too much hazelnut smokiness. during the night i started stacking beer cans into a pyramid. it got really high, over my head high. me and this one guy were competiting. another guy criticized my pyramid making skills, but in a joking way. there were a lot of ooo's and ahhh's. my tower fell always. people even took pictures it was great! i talked to this one guy i used to like from FT back in the day. he was really nice and i'm glad a spoke to him. i met a lot of people that night. i met these two guys and implied they were in a relationship, they took it to the next level, it was hilarious. i called one guy a slut, he admitted it, hahahhaa! those guys i met started messing with me saying "hella" a bunch of times, i had to be pulled away cuz i was slapping/hitting them. not hard, or at least i don't think it was hard. they knew i was joking. then it was dancing time. the slutty guy danced sooo well, i was throughly impressed and entertained. i found him attractive because of the dancing, he was so good. he danced for me like a monkey. i was sad to leave, i was having fun but developing a headache. said our goodbyes and walked home. at home a threw up as usual and went to sleep.

i didn't get a hang over in the morning but my throat is fucked up from screaming and talking loud for a long time. i woke up really early 9:30am on a weekend. that'd just crazy.

weekend in SF/UCB

Friday:
it had been raining for a while so i ditched my class but i had to go to work so i did just because i get paid to do it. work was boring but i just read a bunch of Watchmen, almost finishing it. Margaret finally came by i guess there was traffic. so we finally left at around 7pm. the ride was pretty boring so i kinda fell asleep at a certain point. we got out of the car for McDonalds, they offered a mini meal for $3. i got a chicken sandwich, drink, and fries. i think it's a good deal. the fries were so salty though, too much sodium! when we got out it was raining, so we bee-lined for ann's car. margaret was in front of me and suddenly stops. then she shouts to ann, "drive to us!" that's kinda messed up but it was a good idea, hahahahhaa! so we finally got to Berkeley, we dropped off Margaret at her person's place (she doesn't like to use the word boyfriend). Ann and i just crashed at Carolyn's i slept on the floor in a sleeping bag. i was on top of 2 other sleeping bags but that was slippery so i removed them. during the night i slept on my side and it got numb cuz the floor was so hard. but i didn't care i just kept going back to sleep.

Saturday:
Us girls had lunch at an awesome food place Durant Cafe. my combo had french toast, potatoes, fruit cup and eggs benedict. it was really really good. we told stories and caught up with each other. it was quite enjoyable since the weather was pretty much crap, at least it wasn't raining. so after brunch Ann had to go home for her dad's birthday. so we had to decide what to do, Margaret decided to bring her person along. that was cool with us. we decided to go to SF for Stella the bakery, Brian told me about it saying that it's the best thing ever and that it was "love" in your mouth.

so Carolyn drove us to SF, it was a pretty short drive, Margaret was the DJ in the car and played really good music so i was pretty happy. i tried to take pictures of the ride over but it didn't really work since i was in the most unscenic part of the car. ugh! so we finally get into the city, finding parking was a bitch, but we got lucky. we were going to just park in a loading zone and Carolyn would just stay in the car, i didn't want that. fortunately the car in front of us, an actual parking space, yay us! we got out and walked to Stella, the ordering was confusing and incompetent workers piss me off. so i got the pear tart recommended by Brian. it was pretty good, but i'm not really a tart person. i didn't have the heart to tell Brian so i texted that it was good. i think he bought it. hahhahah! afterwards we realized we had unlimited parking so we wandered around. we walked all the way to Ghirardelli Square. checked out some stores and galleries on the way. saw some salvador dali, dr. sesuss and other fancy people. we wandered around the square, we even got some free samples, my mistake, it was peanut butter, grosssss!

so we got hungry and we couldn't decide where to eat. finally after walking up and down the streets someone said in-and-out, it wasn't me but i love it. we walked all the way back to the car. we were all freakin' tired. we got back to Carolyn's place, we watched a weird movie with george clooney and catherine zeta jones. it was so strange. i knocked out that night, i was sleeping on the couch.

Sunday:
woke up because Ann got to the apartment. we planned to have tea in SF so we made reservations. then we had to add on because margaret's person's roommate and friend were coming too. so we had about 7 people. Ann, Carolyn, and i took the BART to SF. we found the place and knew the others would be late. when they finally came, there were two other guys we haven't met. Thanos and Matt. i kinda thought Thanos was cute. kinda interesting during tea because he wanted to learn the ways. the bill came and it was $33 per person. we were shocked.

afterwards we were going to go to MOMA but Matt had to buy gloves at Burberry. completely unnecessary but whatever. finally got to MOMA, it was raining pretty hard. it was pretty cheap because we were students. it was a cool museum. cool pictures, paintings and displays. some other stuff was not so cool, i just breezed through that. we had fun taking pictures and messing around. after we went to the westfield mall. wondered around and decided where to eat for dinner. we went to some french place, it just got a sandwich. we were going to hang out after food some of us had to go back to Carolyn's place to get the alcohol and change.

over the day i kinda stopped being interested in Thanos, he just wasn't interesting anymore. he wasn't boring just interesting up to a point. we all got to margaret's person's and matt's place. the stuff we had was skyy and smirnoff. we played a card game where people have to drink if they get an 8. that got carried away because people didn't want to drink by themselves and non-berkeley people had to take a welcome shot. after that game we played king's cup. i grabbed a strawberry acai smirnoff, it was fucking delicious. so i kept drinking that, drank it fast. king's cup didn't help either. it messed me up. i suddenly felt powerful so i started throwing stuff. like the box for the cards and a bottle cap. that was when i had to drink water instead of alcohol. i spilled a lot that night. on myself and kicked over stuff. it was so funny. i had to throw up, i did and broke the toilet, that was just so funny to me. but i fixed it by putting water in the back tank, it wasn't really broken i just flushed to soon right after. so after resting and drinking water we went back to carolyn's. i was starting to get a headache. i thought it was going to get a hang over.

while sleeping ann woke me up by knocking down stuff. she picked it up and went back to sleep, it took a little bit to do that. ann spoke in her sleep and said "hamster hambuger" it was so funny!

Monday:
so i didn't get a hangover, thank god. we planned on dim sum. apparently we had even more people coming, ann's grand came from the BART and matt's friend was coming too but he got lost on the BART. so we were late luckily we moved our reservation. the girls came first and the rest got there just in time. had a great time eating and ordering dimsum. we took a while. we paid about 10bucks each but that's with lots of tips. after we had to buy stuff for free parking at the asian market. i bought some asian junk food, it was all cheap too. great stuff. sad because we had to leave. we were sad and said our goodbyes, telling people to come visit santa barbara. they considered it.

the ride back was pretty horrible, we had a full far and i was sitting bitch. one of the breaks we got was at mcdonalds i got a happy meal with a chococat watch it was cute. i also made substitutions for my happy meal. i got apple dippers instead of fries and chocolate milk instead of soda. it was better than fries and soda. nom! the ride was really long. i don't like it, at least i didn't motion sickness.

saturday!

started out as a quiet reading day, that is a very rare day. then evolved to going to state street. we all went to the sex store, i was uncomfortable. lots of interesting stuff... later we went to urban outfitters, i love that store, i bought some London Dunny's. i finished paying but mary was still looking at stuff, i went over to her a new sale section and found some shoes. they were some cute hightop pumas, i've been looking for some cheap but cool-looking high tops. they were a size 7 but yolanda convinced me to try them on and they fit. big plus the shoes were only $20 i had to buy them. walked to world market, while crossing the street some guy in a limo offered me a free coke, i took it. when i got to the other side of the limo/walked the rest of the cross walk, a different guy accused me of stealing their coke, asshole. watever i got a free coke.

so we finally went ice skating, it was fun!!! i love ice skating but the ice was choppy because they didn't go over it with a zambonie for a long while. went home tired and watched SNL, the digital short was really funny. i ordered The Lonely Island cd, it's all those digital short video songs but more. they're so funny. i used my best buy gift card, i only had to pay 76 cents.

bike crash

i haven't really updated my blog in a while.

i actually have something to write about. this morning i was riding my bike to class, i was a little bit late to get to class early, yeah that's weird but watever. i was turning a corner and BAM my bike and another crashed together. i was stunned, some guy and the biker checked up on me. it was still stunned but late for being early to class, so i just got up and assured them. i got up walked my bike and noticed that the handles and tire did not align. i walked it to a bike rack and put it back to what it was supposed to be. then went to class. in class i assessed the damage: sprained thumb, stiff arm muscles and maybe a bruise on my ankle. not bad!

i want to go see Flight of the Conchords but the tickets are so expensive, i don't like to spend that much money. it's over 50bux! that's a lot of mulah!

hfdaei

So yesterday was chinese new year, as well as the busiest day i've ever had at school. basically from 9am-10:30pm, and only 1 hour and a 2 hour break. plus i procrastinated a lot with my paper and had to finish it. for acting rehearsal it took me freaking forever to find the class room. i ended up asking some really nice and kinda cute computer guys in phelps. finally found it and rehearsal was lame because i have such little lines. it really sucks not having a cell phone but people are really nice and let me borrow their cells for a second or two.

today was busy. i had to finish my paper since i only had an outline. i took a shower before class because i couldn't bathe because of chinese new year. right when i finish the smoke alarm goes off, i run out with a towel, fanning the alarm. there was no smoke or even excessive steam. it was stupid it went off like 3 times. it was mad. so after that ordeal, i just went to psych and ecology. during psych i wrote 2 pages. that was a good start. i went to ecology and brian totally distracted me. he's so bad for me, hahahahha! today's lecture was on tapeworms, it was horrifying!

so i had a two hour lunch break to work on my paper and print it. i wasn't sure that work had a printer so i finished it at home. conner was at work today and showed me his injury, his rib went right under his collar bone, i touched it and it was like two collar bones. that was gross, i guess i can imagine how that happened. it's just gross.

surprise rain

today was just a weather crazy day. i woke up around 8:30 and i could hear the pouring rain outside, so i decided to sleep in. woke up again at 9:30 got up because i have to go to my ecology class. i got ready and outside wasn't so bad, it wasn't even that cold. so i decided to ride my bike.

went to ecology and learned about the black plague. this class gets more and more interesting. got out of class and went home for lunch. the weather was really nice, cloudy-ish, no rain and a tad warm. after lunch i went to tutoring. in the middle of the class i heard this weird dripping noise, it was coming from the ceiling but nothing was leaking. once it was over i went outside and it was FREAKIN pouring rain. it took me a while to get the courage to go out in the rain. i had work right after this, but half way there i was completely soaked so i went home instead. i quickly changed all my wet clothes which was everything except my socks. i got back outside and it wasn't raining anymore. that just pissed me off. i didn't want to risk it again so i walked to work. i was 20min late, they didn't care. trevor was finally back at work. i asked about connor, trevor said that connor told him i made fun of him after breaking something. well i didn't know, sorry!

again going to class it wasn't raining, i thought it was going to take forever to walk to class but it wasn't so far, since i could cut around, not like following bike paths. i have a paper for english due on tuesday, 4-6 pages. i haven't started, i'm not a good writer but i got some ideas floating around.

i was going to sleep so i checked my phone, it wouldn't work. i was sad, so i tried to make tony fix it but i just fixed it myself by turning it on and off a bunch of times.

Ever since i've been using Twitter, i've become obsessed! It's just a really cool tool to keep people or myself updated on stuff i find interesting. Someone added/followed me today, on Twitter, and i checked them out, weird thing is that they had a lot of people named Jeany or Jenny, that was a bit freaky. oh well. I also put a twitter thing on my blogger. Plus i get to keep more in contact with cynthia, that's cool too.

Today i was browsing amazon.com to look at their gold box deals, they had the complete seasons of Extras on sale for $15, it's a great deal, i love that show! it's such a great deal. i can't wait for it to come in the mail.

Right now i'm watching the show "Lie to me" it's a show of a guy who can tell if someone is lying. he works for the government to prove people innocent or guilty. It's cool because they show you the "tells" of a liar.

Comic Con 2009!

yay i just volunteered to help with Comic Con! yay! also i think i get in for free and see people and be their bitch basically. i'm so excited!

Randoms

Pinkberry:
so a new pinkberry yogurt shop opened up on state st. everyone was excited about it cuz you know the celebs made it popular and stuff. the school newspaper talked a bit about it's history with celebs and lawsuits. lawsuits against it saying that it was frozen yogurt when it didn't have enough yogurt cultures in it's product. at school, we have a local frozen yogurt place called berrilicious. it's really good and i like it a lot so i was excited to see what the difference was between the two stores. so after shopping on state street the other day we all decided to get pinkberry to try it. the place had a bunch of people and the store itself was decorated simple and nice. the floor was pebbly and cool looking. we had to get in line and order, the stupid part was that we had to get out of line and wait for our name to be called. so we got the yogurt i just got original with kiwi. it was pretty good, it was a mix of yogurt and ice cream. it was like a creamy frozen yogurt. overall i like berrilicous more and it's more convenient to get to in the summer.

Annualcreditreport.com:
during winter break i was really bored on the internet and watching tv. one of those freecreditreport.com commercials came on. i decided to check my credit score online. last time i tried, i failed, so i was not sure it was going to work. this time i picked a different thing to use. it worked and saw my credit report. i thought that my credit score was going to be on there, but apparently it's a different thing. this summer i was a day late on my credit card bill and i thought that it was going to effect my credit. i was really worried about it. but my credit report showed that i was never late, so that was cool. there was even one part were i saw all my credit card balances for every month, that was weird. so i appeared to be in good standing, that's good. i can't check it for another 12 months, that part sucks, i guess.

Twitter:
apparently it's like a status thing like on facebook. except on twitter i can text stuff to it because facebook doesn't like t-mobile, it's loss. i like texting stuff to the internets, i can quickly put my thoughts up without forgetting it. usually i forget about interesting tidbits i come across in my daily life. i get bored easily at work and sometimes i see something weird or pretty cool who knows. like i just remembered that once at work i just watched the men's volleyball team play a game and i got in for free cuz i snuck in. if i didn't sneak in, i would have paid 10-15dollars, that's a lot for a volleyball game. also if i get ideas for sketches or watever i can text them to my twitter and i won't lose it. my precious, yet temporary ideas.

Work:
i love my job, i don't really do anything but study and help with folding laundry because i'm bored. but i main use it to do homework and catching up on reading and i get paid for it. i wish i had a job where i interacted with more people, or people in general. i like being friendly and helpful. watever, hopefully i get an internship or a really good job in the summer.

Mussels

so i just had a strange urge to blog right now. i was looking at this food site just to find interesting ideas or cool pictures of food. then i saw some cooked mussels, usually i wouldn't care and just keep scrolling down. but now i kinda get a bit sick at looking at cooked mussels. why? because the lab i had this week we had to open up a mussel, killing it, and observe it's parts and what not. i dissected a mussel before in high school but that was preserved dead mussels. in lab this week i didn't even kill it. my partner did, i think because we watched it die and it took a really long time and it was moving and squirming. you could tell it was in pain and we couldn't kill it any faster. at the time i felt a little bad but there are more mussels in the sea. i just can't look at cooked mussels for a while now. or maybe cuz i ate a lot and my stomach is being sensitive. i don't know.

taqito!

today was pretty nice, i wasn't sleepy when i woke up. went to biopsych and the teacher went through his slides superfast, then let us out 30mins early. i felt cheated out of something but i was sleepy so i went to the ucen. i plopped down in one of the longer couches. i basically took a 5-10min nap until a really loud guy woke me up. went to ecology, and coincidentally met brian at the door. it was interesting this time, i hope it stays interesting. went back home for lunch and a nap.

after that i went to work, i decided to do some reading outside since it was such a nice day. i even wore shorts! i went back in and remembered i forgot my pen outside where i was sitting. i head back there and there's this older man, looking at the trees, picking something out of the trees and eating it. i thought the was very strange but i guess he was just a transient. right after that i turned around and saw some guy in his skivvies run to the men's locker room with clothes in hand. that was even weirder. at work before i left for class, i helped the guys put up volleyball nets, much help i am, i can't lift the poles.

it was still nice and warm when i went to class. during class my mom called me. i was embarrassed a bit. at break i called my mom back and she was just calling for kicks. after class it was the end of the sunset and it was finally cold. riding back sucked.

first week of school

Monday:
first class of the quarter? ochem, blah! this professor was a whole lot different from my last one. a little bit crazy but interesting. the way he was teaching was like learning a new subject, not even close to the method of my last professor. it kinda worries me, but we'll see.

i had a two hour break in which i bought a 5 subject notebook and a small textbook for class. the line was HUGE! but it moved pretty quickly and i saw Ann. we got sandwiches at subway. i got a tuna salad sandwich with sweet onion sauce, that sauce is the best! we went down to the koi pond to eat. the koi immediately swam towards us. these koi are GIANTS! they were very scary and i was bent on not feeding them. after i ate half my sandwich i opened a chips ahoy 100calorie pack snack. i wasn't hungry and more and i started to feed the koi, it was like a scary game.

after that i had bio, there were so many people like always. i like the professor, he has a cute german accent and is quite funny. i had work soon after and i actually got to do stuff so that was fun.

woke up for my 9:30 class only to find out it was just administrative stuff and we were let go. that was a bummer, i wandered around, bought my lab manual and filled my tires with air. right after that class is ecology, geez that class is boring. the professor tries to make it fun, i appreciate his effort. the subject is just boring.

i had work then english class. in class we had to share a memory and i told one about how i hated this one guy and i got to slap him because he was numb from the dentist. i think his name was chris lebouf, asshole! the class was alright, but we went over poems and i don't like poems, boo.

Wednesday:
it was the same as monday except now i have tutoring instead of breaks, so i basically starved all day and had to go to work. 9-6pm straight with NO breaks! it almost killed me. in lab we just cut up some seeds with a razor blade, i felt like i was a crack addict with razors cutting on the table and stuff. then we played a name game, my name is ___ and i like ___, and it keeps going where it builds on everyone's name and what they like. i thought i was going to do horrible but i remembered everyone's names. sucky part of lab was the acknowledgement of a paper we have to write for this lab. lame. luckily we got out early because i was dying of starvation. i got home ate and went to work. i had to change shifts because 4-6 shift would kill me. also i hate night shifts.

Thursday:
biopsych was more interesting because we got to actually learn this lecture, but i hate learning parts of the brain, it's sooooo hard. but the professor was really cool and knew what he was talking about. next is ecology, that was boring again but this time i sat with my lab partner. poor thing has 8am's this quarter. after that i ate at home and headed for work then english. i actually contributed in class cuz participation is part of our grade.

Friday:
i slept in and made tony go to class and take notes for me. so i got to sleep in, it was a real nice day outside oh welll. slept some more, ate, took a shower and headed for class. whenever i go to campbell hall i pick up a newspaper, but i forgot that because of budget problems, they weren't printing anymore friday editions. i was really sad.

Saturday:
slept in, of course, i was so exhausted from the week. i need to take more naps but i don't have time for that either. i don't take naps after 6pm and that's when my english class ends and my lab too. we all just relaxed and played video games. i played kung fu panda, it was a fun game. we then went to olive garden in ventura, that's like a 40min drive, about. i haven't really like olive garden because once i got the endless pasta bowl and got sick of that place, real fast. i only liked the mints at the end. this time i got a ravioli with 4 cheeses in a tomato-y sauce with sausage. it was really good but there was too much sausage. took it home for left overs, yum!

Sunday:
woke up pretty late and went with Mika and Ann to the farmer's market. there wasn't anything i was interested in buy, either it was way to expensive or i already have it in the apartment. but i did buy this weird green fruit a Chezma or something like that. it was really good, like a very mild pineapple/other fruit taste with a texture of a soft pear.

Today:
i was sitting in ochem minding my own business when i turn to glance at the clock in the back of the room. i catch tony's eye and he makes the weirdest face. i was shocked/startled and wanted to bust out laughing but i couldn't because the teacher was right there. today wasn't a bad day. i ate a bagel and yogurt and got hungry in the last class i was in. i made it without starving!

on the way to work i crossed my kuya, we stopped our bikes and caught up. it was cool seeing him randomly. work was watever i learned to put up volleyball nets. i am not tall enough to do this by myself, nor strong enough to lift the volleyball poles.

i finally got a wamu account, ONLY cuz i'm going to get an addition $100! wooh! it was pretty easy to get an account. they even offered me a credit card but i said no. i only need one credit card, i can't risk myself getting into debt. i also got some standard checks, they're really cool because each check comes with a carbon copy, awesome! i don't really like wamu because of their debt cards, so yellow and you can't read the name easily. oh well.

when i come home for a three day weekend, i can pick up my debt card, checks, new glasses and some more food. yay!

today was lissette's family's bbq. her dad made some carne asada, it was realllly good. we talked about dreams and other weird topics. after eating we walked around the block, that wasn't so bad. me and cynthia decided to be a youtube sensation. we would write and act in sketches and put them on youtube. we should have thought of this earlier in the break, hahaha!

New year's eve

A bunch of us decided to go to cheesecake factory for pre-New-Year's-Eve stuff. Cynthia, Daniel, Wilson, Greg, Shaina and Alex got to cheesecake factory early to reserve a table. While Helen, Devin and I got there later an hour an a half later than they did. we got there thinking we'd get a table real soon, nope! we still had to wait another 45mins. there were just soooo many people.

we got seated at one of the huge tables. it took forever for us to order because the person didn't check up on us that much. then the food took forever because restaurants like everyone to get their food at the same time. the food was good as always, cuz we always get the same thing. for some reason the waiters switched. the new waiter did a worse job of checking up on us. so it took forever to get the cheesecake and then the old waitress came back. she took forever because she was going to be there all night. we finally got the check and tried to split it up. of course since we had a bunch of people they added tip already. i hate when that happens. so we took approximately 45min to split the check.

so we finally drove home and got to cynthia's house at freakin 11:20pm. we opened and started to play apples to apples. i heard it was a lot of fun, it was a good game but not what i expected. so we all said hello to the new year and played scattegories, that was really fun! when we decided to go home it was getting late. i remembered i had those popper things you throw on the floor. they were really cool in the dark because they created a blue-ish spark. we had fun with that for another 15mins. then went home. overall it was a fun night.

My New Year's Resolutions:
-Dedicate more time for school
-Be more social
-Work out at least once a week
-WATCH TV LESS!
-Start assignments/readings early
